Hello & Welcome!

I am a Ph.D. student in Political Science at the University of California, Davis, focusing on American politics, Computational Social Science, political communication on social media, and REP. My current research investigates how marginalized candidates—particularly Black women—strategically adjust ideological messaging across electoral stages and online platforms using computational social science, NLP methods, and regression discontinuity design (RDD). I also explore engagement farming tactics by political elites, health policy, and the role of misinformation in shaping democratic participation and affective polarization.

I also serve in an elected position in student government as the External Vice President for the UC Davis Graduate Student Association, where I lead state and federal policy advocacy delegations to Sacramento and Washington D.C., liase with external stakeholders on behalf of the GSA, and run the GSA Legislative Affairs Newsletter. I also represent graduate students at the campus and systemwide level through service on:

I completed both my B.A. in Psychology (minor in Political Science, 2020) and M.A. in Political Science (2023) at California State University, Fullerton. Before academia, I worked in managed healthcare and startup finance, most recently as a Senior Corporate Development Analyst at Excelera Health, where I led finance project management initiatives like cost control programs for a medical group and high-complexity lab, a prescription drug data reconciliation program, and claims analyses on regional Medicare benchmarking focused on SDOH data.
